This panorama was taken from a hilltop just west of Howelsen Park. This is a very typical Summer day with everyone enjoying various sports. See how many sports you can detect in this image. Can you also see what sports activities or facilities might exist here? This little town thrives on both winter and summer sports. There are many sports and activities. How many can you detect? So look closely and think about every season.

This panorama was taken using an Arca-Swiss rm3di technical camera using a Schneider 150mm lens. The image consists of 69 images, each image being 60 megapixels. The digital back was a PhaseOne IQ260, 60 megapixel.

Many families have lived in this area since the late 1800's. This is a true western town. Steamboat is also known as Ski Town USA. Steamboat has produced more olympians than any other city in the world. In the image you will be able to see the 90 meter ski jump and two other smaller ski jumps. This town is home to Billy Kidd, Gary Crawford, Todd Lodwick and many, many other olympians.
