Description

This high definition panorama captures Pittsburgh's entire Golden Triangle area.

It was taken by James Albright, as part of the High Points of Pittsburgh series of the Pittsburgh Gigapanorama project. It was shot from a 17th floor balcony of the Trimont on Mount Washington.

Not as big in terms of pixels as other images in this series, The Confluence at Night was conceived primarily as a printable panorama.

It is still fascinating to view and explore the image, ideally on a large monitor. For best effect, select the full-screen mode by clicking the double arrow in the image's upper right corner. By clicking and dragging your cursor, you can move around the image, zoom in and pan to find people and places special to you.

Be sure to check out the snapshot icon in the image's lower left corner, where you can also register for free and add snapshots of your own for others to see.
