I headed out from Ashland, and made it just past 'the highest point on I5,' Siskiyou Summit, at 4,310 feet.

I felt the pano-urges come on. I blame gigapan for turning a six hour drive into a 10 1/2 hour drive...

    Thanks. It's a small positive memory. I did not stop there, but drove through there, leaving from Jacksonville, Oregon, to drive our daughter to be with her husband at Camp Pendleton. The whole drive there, and back on Amtrak to Klamath Falls, was a nice memory.
