Description

Another in the series - Jurassic-aged lake bed sediments along Route 9 in central Connecticut.

Less well-preserved than the previous sequence (www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=18667), but exhibits some interesting sedimentary structures (bending/folding of layers) and deposition of thin layers of quartz along fractures.
