With the lower temperatures and increasing winds as sunset approaches, the carpenters are placing the final touches on the A4 roof of Amundsen Scott South Pole Station.
Sunset will start on March 21 and will take almost a day to finish. Then we take the plunge into the deep darkness of the South Pole winter. It will be very nice to have this roof done before sunset.
The 14 images of this panorama were photographed with a Nikon D 80 and stitched with Autopano Pro.
