Red Lake Peak and Stevens Peak reside to the south of Lake Tahoe, alongside of Highway 88, near Carson Pass. This is a very popular area for backcountry skiing, snowmobiling, and other winter recreation.
I accidentally switched my G9 out of manual focus mode and only discovered it about halfway through the shooting so unfortunately the chutes behind the foreground rocks, and to the left of Stevens Peak are out of focus when you zoom in.
