Description

This is another gigapan of the Convention Center, with the difference that I added a 1.7 X Tele Extender to the 18 X Zoom of the Panasonic FZ28. this gives a total of 30.6 X or 826 mm focal lenght.
I used AutoFocus Multi-aerea-focusing, AE-lock, and the camera was able to lock focus, even when the object was on the very edge of the picture.
It was a little windy, but since the whole camera is so heavy with that Sony lens and counterbalance, it did not effect the outcome.

    Rudi, looks like you're getting pretty severe banding caused by vignetting due to such a long telephoto and teleconverter. Why not try a few without the converter and with the tele racked back to say 8X, see if the banding reduces..? PS I thought I had your email or could get your phone no from the caller ID but looks like Grand Central didn't pass it through.
