View to the north from Burg Hohenstein, in Hohenstein, Hessen, Germany
Taken on Easter Monday, just shortly before 2 pm. Exposure was calculated using a incident light meter, 1/250th s @ F8, ISO 100. Gigapan worked flawlessly, no battery problems (new set of NiMh batteries did the trick!). Camera is the Canon PowerShot SX100 IS, which is my dedicated gigapan camera.
The exposure caught the feeling of one of the first really warm spring days we've had here. Nice castle, too, but this was a 300 image shot and there are limits to my wife's patience... :-)
