Funny as it sounds now, I can recall a summer night in the late fifties when just about all of Oshawa's population was down here at the beach. Reports over Oshawa's radio station stated a strange creature was sighted off Bonnie Brae Point. The Lake Ontario equivalent of Nessie. Grin, those were the days . . .
