A few grain elevators remain within the city limits. This one is in the Midway area, near my studio.

    Hi Tom, I just wanted to point out that the prominent elevator (with steel silos) in this gigapan is Electric Steel, not Kurth. Kurth is visible in the background ... Electric Malting and Kurth had a business relationship later on, but this elevator is referred to as Electric Steel, while the one behind (and mostly not visible in this gigapan) is referred to as Kurth. The distinction may be extra important these days, as Electric Steel is the subject of a dispute over being demolished, and Kurth is gone. Thank you! :-)
