Description

My first attempt at a full 360, but what happened? Firstly stitcher wouldn't complete it work, and the program just hung and stopped after several hours work, so I have reduced it by three rows and one column, ending up with this "creation". Any constructive comments gratefully accepted>

I think it is clear that the problem is insufficient overlap. The stitcher notes say 0.2% to 47.3% whereas they should says something like from 30% to 40%. Can I suggest you check how you have got your gigapan set up? Go into the 'Gigapan Setup' and do the thing with lining up the horizon. If you are not aware of this, note that you have to change the setup for every level of zoom you use which is annoying if like me you never use the same zoom twice. It is also very annoying if like my camera, you set everything up, then your camera switches itself off and forgets what the zoom setting was :( After you have checked the setup, take a simple horizontal pano (making sure that the level of zoom is a per your setup) and carefully look at the images as they are taken. The unit should move no more than two thirds of a picture. If this is not the case then you may have a faulty unit.
