Description

From the tower at the Chanel Islands National Park. This was taken on Memorial Day 2009 as part of a set from the tower. Lots of activity on the water resulted in lots of things getting cut off. Taken using Gigapan Epic 100 and Canon S5 IS

John, Thanks for your comments! Not sure if I would consider this HDR, I only did one pass, no bracketing on this shot. I have looked at your site and will send you a personal message there. David

Hi David from John Nichols at the John Nichols Gallery.com in Santa Paula. I'm glad to learn that the new model can take HDR Gigapans. I have trouble in Photoshop with any file over 2 gigs. They won't open. Do you have to deal with that with three sets of files? I use Photomatix as my HDR program. Hope to meet you in person some day.
