If this pano looks a little low, it's because the GigaPan blurred all the top-row images despite the use of the 2-sec self-timer. Let me know if anyone has a fix for this.

*Do not* use IS or VR or whatever it may be called on any camera when using the robot.

I never use a delay, I set the F-stop and exposure time and that's it. 1/8 second might be a long exposure time anyway. 48 images are not a lot, maybe that is part of the problem? My Gigapans are normally around 240-480 pictures depending on the situation and my well known patience.

I used a 4-second delay on the GigaPan with a 2-second self-timer and 1/8 second camera exposure. There is vertical movement in all the top images and I deleted them. As you can see the other images are fine. I'll experiment with a longer GigaPan delay.

Hello, I don't completely understand the line: the GigaPan blurred all the top-row images. It must have been your camera I think. I don't see huge problems in the stats either. Is the problem that the sky is overlapping creating vertical lines in the top pictures? Blurring can happen when the auto focus is on but you can switch that of in the Powershot. And I like rivers in combination with cities just a way to say I like the twilight picture.
