The view over St. Helier Harbour, from Mont Bingham, with South Pier in the foreground. The town of St. Helier, the capital of the island of Jersey, stretches away in the background to the right. The harbour wall (alongside which the red and white painted vessel "Corsaire" is moored) was originally the western extent of the harbour, all the development beyond is on land reclaimed from the sea now called the "The Waterfront" still with much new development planned and in construction.
