Although this is quite a large fungus, apothecia of Ionomidotis fulvotingens on Salix cinerea branches (growing more often on Salix caprea) are not easily visible in the field. Collected May 31. 2009, near Hellange (southern part of Luxembourg) at "Belsakerweier" on Salix cinerea branch 1.5m above ground.
