Ron Wickersham and Mica made a 'Gigascan' by mounting their camera to a CNC router to take this photo.

I then used the gigapan software to stitch and upload the image. Alembic makes amazing handcrafted guitars and basses. The detail of the workmanship is normally not captured in photos. They take pride that when people receive their instruments they routinely comment that it looks better than the photographs.
