Hi Keith, all airplanes on this panorama are starting and are placed at the real position. I just took many pictures of the same area, whenever a plane took off. I don't own a gigapan so it was easy to pause and repeat segments of the pano. ;) The clever stitcher removed all planes, so I rendered different layers and merged them together.

I'm intrigued. Let us into the secret please. Did you paste one in (probably not as shadows are correct) Did you pause camera. How many stills in this panorama please?
