It would be interesting to visit different stadiums in different parts of the world, what would you think? And create a page on the subject. Here I give you a link to a stadium in Uruguay, South America, the "Estadio Centenario". It is the stadium where the first drink juice in the world of FIFA in 1930. www.gigapan.org/gigapans/65433/

I would reduce the f stop value from f/22 down to about f/8. f/22 will yield much diffraction loss. I would also calculate the hyperfocal distance and attempt to focus close to that to maximize DOF. You might increase your shutter speed as well. You will have 4 stops EV to use after reducing it to f/8. You might also use a timer delay on the camera to allow for settling time.
