Description

This is where the Bishop of St. David's kept his forces. He had a Cathedral and a palace at St. David's (see tinyurl.com/nk8eby Will open in a new tab or window) and other houses besides, but this was the seat of his military power.

You can see a similar 'fighting' castle at Kidwelly here tinyurl.com/lmux84 Will open in a new tab or window, the interior of Llanhaden castle here tinyurl.com/lhfg97 Will open in a new tab or window, or see all my Pembroke gigapans here tinyurl.com/lp9gqk Will open in a new tab or window.

Kind words - thanks. Actually I don't like it and am disappointed with every aspect of it but then I am a perfectionist and I have learned that just because I am dissatisfied with something I have produced doesn't mean that other people won't like it. Texas_Photo has encouraged me to make public any number of gigapans that I was going to leave as public and some of them have been very popular.

Nice panorama Kilgore. I like the composition, texture, and blue sky along with the stone structure in the background which helps give it depth.
