The location from where this panorama was taken can be seen from a previous GigaPan: gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=27578&snapshot_id=91286.
The climb to the top was strenuous to say the least, but the intense heat had not arrived, so I survived. The view is indeed stunning and I would love to return with the D70 and the 70-200mm f/2.8, but that will only happen when the sky is blue and the temp is low.
