This Gigapan was taken from the Table Rock Cross area East of Boise. On the top center right is downtown Boise. The Idaho Botanical Garden and the Old Idaho State Penitentury are located in the bottom left and center of the image. The Boise State Football stadium is in the upper left.
The wind was blowing quite a bit and the camera was shaking during the shots. i was pleasantly surprised that the image quality is quite good overall. However, on the right side middle the details are somewhat fuzzy, probably due to camera movement that the stitching software could not fix. I thought about cropping this side, but the lower right side of the image is much sharper.
This Gigapan was taken with a Nikon D5000 and 300mm lens.
