Tourists love to see and take pictures of these colonial homes all over Tuscany. Their soft beige stucco walls and extraordinary dull orange pantile roofs bask in fields of dull yellow wheat or luminous yellow sunflowers. Almost any image of Tuscany calls them forth. This particular one is located in the Laterina section of Tuscany very near Arezzo. Abandoned, like many of the ancient homes, it awaits someone to restore it to its former grandeur.
