- Description

To support the Bicentennial in Liverpool an old Canalside Loading dock was transformed into a festival with specially created floats and rivercraft from over the northwest. The event was a very ethereal as I don't think there are any inhabited dwellings in the area for quite a distance. In contrast to when I lived in here about 200 Meters away and 52 years ago the whole place was alive with dockers and residents all dependent on the traffic on the adjacent river Mersey. Ah Progress!
