    Thanks lmsimzyk. I did not use parallax and I am not sure if my SX20 (and SX10) have the same problems you described. I did noticed that for my SX20/SX10 I often get blur images for the row that contains horizontal lines with most of the contents in the images being sky/clouds. This could be normal because the camera confused as to where to focus and it happened only for these horizontal lines row. I often re-shot the horizontal lines after gigapan finished programing with MF. Other than this, I really liked my two cameras. They give me the best (best) resolution over all other cameras I have used. (A trick is to do under- exposure). I just coming back from a cruise trip and used my SX20 for several gigapans taken there (just uploaded one of them). Please have a look.

    Nice photo. I'm not have any luck with my sx20 setting the non-parallax point on the gigapan. So far the only success has been on my manfrotto 303sph and placing the camera 6-7inches IN FRONT of the center pivot of the tripod. The sensor also seems to be about 2mm offset behind the lens. Did you run into any problems like this with setup or parallax with your sx20?

    Thanks Ron. Yes, giga-sizes are always the preferred ones. Sometime, limited by the time and other conditions, small one is the only option to have.

    Wow, miao! Nice new camera!!! I'm envious. I'm also very much looking forward to more really big GigaPans like this from you, now. Multi-gigapixel images are so much more explorable than all of those tiny sub-hundred megapixel ones! ;-) Keep up the great work!
