California's Centeral Valley is a large and agriculturally diverse place. Grapes, walnuts, almonds, sweet corn, peaches, plums, tomatoes, rice, and otherfoods eaten directly by people are grown here. This provides a higher cash value per acre than the cattle feed grown in so many other places in the USA. It also provides us with a higher quality of life due to availablity of quality produce.
I was taken by this view while heading back from the snow covered landscapes of the Eastern Sierra. The line of mountains ahead of surround the valley in which I live. It was nice to see in front of me though it was more than an hour away.
