- Description

Although several of Quebec City's buildings stand taller, the hotel is perched atop a tall cape overlooking the Saint Lawrence River, thus giving a spectacular view for several kilometres. The building is the most prominent feature of the Quebec City skyline as seen from across the St. Lawrence, and is a symbol of the city.
This GigaPan was taken from the park directly next to the Chateau around 3PM on 10-Sep-09. As it is a popular tourist area, there were many moving people. I did my best to pause the GigaPan when there were people moving in front of the camera. This GigaPan is unedited in Photoshop, uploaded directly from the GigaPan Stitcher.
