An interstate lake straddling the border of states of New Jersey and New York, it has a length about seven miles (12 km) running from south to north.
Approximately, the state line bisects the lake. This photo was taken very close to the border. Roughly, the 3/5 of the photo on the left side is in New Jersey while the 2/5 on the right side is in the state of New York.
Although named Greenwood, the lake has little green in the fall. The colorful autumn foliage is beautiful and this 2.7GB gigapan can only capture a small portion of the scenery along the west side of the lake shore.
