Description

The following is taken from the better panorama version of Wendy: www.gigapan.org/gigapans/37602/
I met Wendy as she was approaching the Academic Quad and we chatted and I discovered that she has lived in Chengdu, and that she is taking a difficult curriculum at Rice and that she was very close to the epicenter of the 2008 Sichuan earthquake (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Sichuan_earthquake Will open in a new tab or window). She cheerfully participated in this hand-held, 360 degree panorama.

This hand-held, 360-degree panorama was taken with a Leica D-Lux 3 camera and was stitched using the GigaPan Stitcher software. Additional details can be found on Stitcher Notes with information there concerning the GigaPan Stitcher run.

Note: The reason that this panorama is distorted is due to user error when editing the hand-held files. What you see is the first stitch, the better version as notated above was created from unedited photos.
