From above the Phoenician Resort on the Cholla trail this view covers much of southern Scottsdale and sweeps around to the west to see downtown Phoenix. Off in the distance, 38 miles to the east, Four Peaks at 7600 feet awaits winter's snow.
This is a handheld two-row shot with a Canon XTi with standard zoom lens set to 34mm.

Thanks Dave. It was a quick setting because I had to head out the door to go eat some turkey down there in Scottsdale. I refined it after getting back home. It was difficult, since I was on the edge of a steep slope and the elevation data was probably a bit off. I would have liked to go lower but it won't let you go below what it thinks is ground. I need to go back and shoot this with the GigaPan, this was two row hand-held with an XTi and kit lens. I'm surprised it stitched so well.

Good job on geocoding.
