Scientist’s double check newly installed packages of honey bees, on a farm outside of Honolulu, HI, for survivorship and queen status. The honey bees were packaged in Pahala on the isle of Hawaii two days prior to this picture being taken. They were then shipped via air cargo to Honolulu where they where loaded onto a truck and driven to the farm. Out of the sixty colonies shipped from Hawaii to Oahu fifty-eight of them survived the trip.
