This newly established strand community exhibit illustrates the native
coastal community of plants .There are examples of rare and endangered plants .
Much of this habitat has been altered due to human intervention. This gigapan will help Botany
students identify important coastal plants and illustrate the adaptations to survive in this environment.
This environment is influenced by the substrate,sun,salt spray,and introduced species.
