The first clear day after a week of clouds and rain allowed this beautiful sight to be captured. As much as 7 feet of snow fell in the mountains of Arizona this week. This photo was taken just as the noon-time fountain show took place at the center of Fountain Hills. The plume rises over 500 feet (150m) and is just over a mile away. The mountain peak just to the left of center is the 7100 ft. Mt. Ord, 28 miles away. The cloud covered Four Peaks on the right rises to 7600 ft. and is 24 miles away.
