    This is most moving Nelson. Wow. I hope you have occasion also to large-format print these and hang them in a gallery as well. Best wishes to you on this whole endeavour; we will feature it on the front page of Gigapan in the coming months in remembrance.

    Thanks, illah, These leaves are part of a larger artwork to honor those who have fallen in the Iraq war. The fallen leaves seem to make a beautiful and sadly moving visual analogy. I actually used a consumer grade scanner to make these, although it takes a fair amount of work to make them come out nicely.
