A dry, windy, sunny day. This panorama was taken in the middle of that day's transect. The site is about 45 min walk from the Pailas station in the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Many small Myrmicinae in leaf litter sifting. Couple of cool, red, slow moving ants from an, as yet, unknown genus in the leaf litter. 2 very small Hypoponera uncovered in the active search.
