Description

The Tunkhannock Viaduct or Nicholson Bridge located in Nicholson Pennsylvania. When it opened in 1915 it was the largest reinforced concrete railroad bridge in the world. It is 2,375 feet long and 240 feet high. It may still be the largest structure of its kind since half or over half of it is located below ground. It is a POI on the Sunday Drive App for iPhone.
