Description

The Capitol of Pensylvania from the Western Shore of the Susquehanna River. The river is so shallow in most places that you can walk across it without getting your belt wet. The saying here is 'a mile wide and knee deep'. At the left third there is a building that comes down to the steps on the waterfront. The concrete wall below it covers caves which passengers on the underground railroad would enter after they forded the river. The caves led to safe houses near the capitol. This location is a POI on the Sunday Drive App for the Apple iPhone.

Greetings, I just happened across this image. Spectacular work! I had created a panorama of my own, but not nearly of the same quality. Would you mind sharing what equipment and any photo software you ma have used to create this beautiful GigaPan? Gregg
