This was one of the early missions on the journey of Father Kino, who travelled widely through the area. It was actually quite busy there this day with people attending mass and getting their foreheads smeared.
This is the first part of an "Ashtray" series, in which I will be visiting locations around Arizona which are featured on an old souvenier ashtray. I'll try to get the ashtray in each of the gigapans....this one was easy
