Just playing around with a self portrait of myself in my bedroom. For some reason it stitched my face incorrectly so I look a bit deformed (typical!!) and also stitched incorrectly a couple of things such as window frames but other than that I am quite pleased with it. The light changed drastically as I was shooting it so some of the light is a little dappled and also overexposed in the center of the photograph as the sun came out from behind a cloud.
This was taken as part of a series of portraits of people I know (the first one that I have uploaded... more to come!) - I feel that objects, belongings and the items that we choose to fill our lives with almost say more about us than our bodies do. I am Gigapanning people in their environments to try and capture them amongst their surroundings and chosen belongings.

Great work and you have a very clean room and well sorted. Ithink this was the time consuming part of the job :-)

Nice shot Alice - a pity you didn't upload earlier as I'm sure it would have made it into Dror's Environmental Portraits curated set. Re the distorted face, yes this is completely typical and to be guaranteed :-) I don't think there is a single image of me where I don't look like a reject from The Munsters. Two suggestions: 1 - get someone else to take the shots of you manually (i.e. with the Last Panorama option) and 2 - try using the free version of Autopano and Smartblend. If you are lucky you won't get a watermark over the bit you are interested in.
