This is a small town about 40 miles south of Edinburgh. It is quite posh and a lot of wealthy retired folk live here. It does not have a branch of Greigs the Bakers or a large supermarket and that makes it a good place to be.
On the left you see the 'Greenyards' rugby ground - Home of Melrose Rugby Union team, and the place where rugby 7s came to be. The Eildon hills are in the background and although today is the first day of spring, there is still a good covering of snow.

fetching snapshots...

Can I echo Keith's exhortation to geocode?
CAMERON McVEAN (March 03, 2010, 09:23AM )
Keith I think this one was about 40 odd shots. Learning curve momement: too many damn trees. I've got the Epic 100 model that arrived at Xmas time, and I bought a Canon 200is compact for this. I'm normally a Nikon man for other work. I forwarded your Selkirk shot onto a mate of mine who is from that neck of the woods. Your Clifton Bridge balloon shot is a cracker.
Keith Rodgerson (March 03, 2010, 08:52AM )
Hi Cameron Welcome to Gigapans. Can you tell me how many shots and what camera you use please. Also you'll find that it's good to geocode pictures. See mine including Selkirk and Kelso by putting rodgopan in the search box. Cheers Keith
