This was the last day of a very successful 4 day backpacking trip on the North Rim. Later in the ternoon of the day I took this shot I took a gigapan of Half Dome from North Dome, two days earlier I had taken one from Eagle Peak. I had hoped to take just one BIG gigapan from North Dome, but it was too big, I couldn't find a single spot that could take it all in, and the lighting was all wrong. Looking west was only good in the afternoon, and looking east was only good in the morning.
