Spring floodwaters surge over the spillway at Minneapolis' St. Anthony locks. This pano is not as sharp as I'd like; strong winds on the bridge shook the GigaPan Epic mechanism. For an overview of the area in better light (and lower water) see www.gigapan.org/gigapans/25023/

Thanks, David. We had a fairly snowy winter and have recently had high temperatures in the 60s -- very unusual for this time of year here. There are flood warnings for rivers throughout the region. One of the gigapanning's appeals is its ability to immerse us in a totally different environment such as www.gigapan.org/gigapans/42875/ Tom

I like the late-afternoon colors and tones in this GigaPan, but I like warm Texas weather better. We have some rivers near Houston, but never see water flow like this except in the bayous after a heavy rain, but there are no dams in the bayous that I know of. Your Minnesota panoramas are always very interesting to explore.
