Description

The vista platform at the end of the walkway above Rock Creek, along the Beartooth Highway, US-212, southwest of Red Lodge, Montana, USA. This scenic highway climbs to nearly 11,000 feet on the way from Red Lodge to Yellowstone National Park. It is arguably the most scenic mountain drive in America, with lots of hairpin turns and high alpine vistas.

The Rock Creek Vista-point is about halfway up the mountain side, and protrudes out into the valley along a ridge of igneous rock.
