This panorama of Little Seneca Lake in Maryland was taken from the Visitor Center of Black Hill Regional Park in Montgomery County. This shows the lake on April 2, 2010 -- a bright spring afternoon before the trees have leafed out. This image is a "close-up" of the gazebo and boat docks, compared to our other image taken from the same location(www.gigapan.org/gigapans/46285/). The Canon telephoto was set to 300mm for this image, a 35-mm equivalent of 476mm, so much more detail can be seen here. Little Seneca Lake covers 505 acres, while the park, including the lake, covers 1843 acres.
