- Description
-
Shack Island is located between Pipers Lagoon (south) and Neck Point (north). The shacks on the island are from the 1930's, and were orginally built by fisherman. When the tide is below 1m, you can walk to Shack Island. The bottom of the bay is almost entirely made of oysters, and in many areas you wont find any rocks unless you dig down through them.
