The sprawling Phoenix metropolitan area viewed from the Buena Vista Lookout and trail head. From here you can see all the major landmarks and sports facilities ranging from University of Phoenix Stadium to Sun Devil Stadium. The tall buildings of downtown are close to USAirways Center and Chase Ballpark. Notable mountains are Piestewa Peak, Camelback and Four Peaks. This was not a day that got Phoenix on the wrong end of the air quality list. Desert air tends to be very dusty when the wind blows and ozone is a problem when it does not. Both are considered pollutants that give the area a bad rating.
