A nearly closed canopy Koa (Acacia koa) forest at about 5000 ft (1524 m) elevation on the Mauna Loa Strip Road, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Hawai'i
You can see the cloud bands that make the shadow bands in the image. Also notice the many stitching errors near the top of the gigapan. I'll try to stitch in autoPano Giga to see if there is any improvement.
The `Amakihi, `Elepaio, and `Apapane were flying all around, but toying with me and my DSLR/600mm lens. :^(
I'll return regularly (but not weekly, like Alex (biodiversity).
