Here is Scotland's capital city in the warm early morning sunshine. I took the picture from Calton Hill facing west.
Landmarks include: Edinburgh Castle, Scott Monument, Registry House, Balmoral Hotel, North Bridge etc etc

My pet Gigasubject is Bristol's Clifton Bridge which as well as being the site of the world's first ever bunjy jump was also one of the UK's most regular suicide spots until new fencing and CCtv was installed. The irony was that there was a sign at one end of the bridge which said " Ring the Samaritans. Nearest phone; other side of the bridge!"

Dont Jump your snapshot is somewhat ironic - Edinburgh's #1 spot for suicides is the North Bridge where you can see the buses running. I think the Samaritans installed a dedicated phone there some years ago.

Hi Keith Epic 100 and my Canon 200is compact. pano is 15 shots wide x 4 deep - glad you like it, but of course you've no doubt been here before!
