Tantalas lookout, in Hawaii, Oahu. During this time there was a slight VOG (Volcanic pollution). The camera I have is not so great (got to get a new one...). This one is a second set to the other one I made with more detail.

thanks for your input. Im still new to this camera and giga pan thing, ill try playing around with the settings. The rows sounds like something that would work but I have the educational gigapan unit one of the first beta test ones and sadly doesnt have the row option, gotta save up in investing in one of those newer models... Thanks anyways, I really appreciate it, one of the first comments i got on tips :)

I'd second krbristol's suggestions. It appears that for this panorama, your camera settings allowed ISO, aperture, exposure time, and white balance to all be in "auto" mode. Try locking each one of those, if your camera allows. Lock focus too, if you can, on a scene like this where focus at infinity would work fine. Also, the vignetting would be reduced some if you used more overlap. 30-40% overlap is good. Good luck.

Try taking scenic panoramas in rows instead of columns. It can iron out the variable sky exposure. Also its important to use manual exposure. Point the camera at a neutral mid grey card to get it right. Best wishes Keith
