- Description
-
Shipwrecks from a 1905 November gale prompted this lighthouse construction. Completed in 1910 and now 100 years old, Split Rock Light Station is one of Minnesota's best known landmarks. The lighthouse offers a glimpse of lighthouse life in this remote and spectacular setting in the 1920's.
