View from the end of the orange blazed trail at Devils Hopyard, overlooking the north/south valley that contains Eightmile River. The u-shape of the valley (fuzzy trees at the left of the image) suggest a valley that's been widened and shaped by glaciers (see the discussion of the geology at the partk webpage ct.gov/Dep/cwp/view.asp?a=2716&q=325126&depNav_GID=1650
).A bit hazy today? (Or my camera needs an autofocus adjustment...)
